Photographer Pascal Demeester

Pascal Demeester was born in Brussels Belgium in 1959 and Graduated from the School of Graphic Research (E.R.G.) in 1985.

Pascal had several exhibitions in the years while at school including "Quatrieme Grand Prix National Photographie Ouverte de Charleroi," and a solo Exhibition @ Espace Photographique Contretype Bruxelles, both in Belgium.

From 86 to 98 Pascal worked as a Fashion and Advertising photographer in Brussels, Belgium collaborating with different Fashion Magazines such as Elle, Marie-Claire Man, Avenue, L'Express Man, Jeune et Jolie. As well as shooting numerous Advertising Campaigns in Europe for Mercedes, Dunhill, Perrier, Samsonite, Carlsberg, and La Redoute Spa.

Moving to New York in 1998 pascal continued working as a Fashion Photographer as well as Painter, showcasing his selection of Fine Art at the Elaine Benson Gallery in New York for their Painting Exhibition "Re-Emerging."

In 2006 Pascal began creating an unlimited series of conceptual surrealistic images. These Images included some fashion ingredients intermixed with the surrealistic association of objects, individuals, words and landscapes, removing their utilitarian purpose so as to be perceived as a field in which the viewers would be able to liberate their thoughts and let their spirit create a mental association as desired.

From 2001 to Present Pascal divided his time between New York and Los Angeles working as a Fashion Photographer spending most of his time in Los Angeles incorporating California’s exceptional landscapes into his Photography.
